Maize Maze

My fellow Singlutionary and former roommate/chicken-coop conspirator found a Maize Maze in the shape of Texas and invited her friends to attend. So today we all carpooled up and drove out into the middle of nowhere to find a huge event with massive parking and children and parents everywhere. Aside from our group, we were the only grown-ups there unescorted by a child under the age of 12.

I loved that.

Corn mazes are for everyone!

And now the weekend is over, my house is a mess, the dog is unwalked and I am exhausted.

I love a corn maize. I haven't been able to find one near Atlanta.

Exhausted but happy surely? I saw Big Ben made out of straw bales last month - nearly full scale and in the middle of nowhere with clock faces and everything. Aaah, the fun that can be had on farms.

I once lost myself in a crop circle depicting the universe, that was far out!

I had the most fun in a hay bale maze in half moon bay, CA. But now I live far away from pumpkin lands and must settle for corn fields. Anyways, peach tart, what you need is a peach maze! Or maybe you already ARE one. I was thinking i need to create a marajuana maze. Welsh girl, happy, surely! YES! The wonders of the world built from hay. That is slightly more awesome than being built from, say, ice because horses can eat them when all the visitors get bored. Richard. I must make a field trip next to a crop circle. There have got to be some of those around here . . . or maybe over in New Mexico.

Corn mazes are my friend. I am going to a haunted one on Saturday! Yay for Halloween and corn mazes, and continuing to go after age 12 and without children.

Stevi: HALLOWEEN is for everyone, even those without their costumes on!

Corn mazes are the best. Last time I went though, one of our party insisted on following the map. BUMMER.

CC Onely: Following the map? Oh heck no! That is just flat out wrong!

I'm jealous I didn't even get to go apple picking this year. I need to have more access to a car. Why do I live in this concrete jungle? I did go to an Urban pumpkin patch and saw some of the cast of Gossip Girl. It was cool, but corn mazes are much cooler.
